What are the rules on house viewings during a local lockdown?

Is a house viewing classed as a reasonable excuse to leave an area?

There has been a lot of confusion over the last couple of weeks regarding whether or not a house viewing is classed as a "reasonable excuse" to leave or enter a local lockdown area.

In order to make sure that we are following the correct procedures and keeping everyone safe we contacted our local Member of the Senedd, who has today confirmed that the examples of a ‘reasonable excuse’ to enter or leave a locked down area have now been published, and these include ‘undertaking activities in connection with the purchase, sale, letting, or rental of residential property.’

So you can continue to search for your new home and allow viewings on your current home as long as you are feeling well and are not showing any symptoms of Covid-19 or self isolating.
